15 Alligator Grab

Alligator Grab is a wireline fishing tool used in recovering loose objects. Prior to running into the well, operator can predetermine set the amount of spring tension that will give its jaws an effective grip on the fish. The retaining pin will keep the jaw in place until the pin sheared by downward jarring, allowing the jaws to bite onto the fish. It is not recommended to be used on operation involve heavy downward jarring.
